Choate Rosemary Hall, formed by the 1974 merger of the Choate School (founded 1890) and Rosemary Hall (founded 1890), is one of the leading coeducational boarding schools in the United States. Located in the historic town of Wallingford, Connecticut โ midway between New Haven and Hartford โ Choate occupies a beautiful 458-acre campus of Colonial and Georgian architecture, athletic fields, and woodland.
Choate enrolls approximately 900 students from 44 states and 44 countries, creating an exceptionally diverse international community. The Andrew Mellon Science Center offers research-grade facilities for student scientists. The Writing Center, the Mathematics Center, and the Language Learning Center provide additional support and enrichment.
